Learn the basics of forming, mounting and decorating cake pops.

Student will create 6 unique cupcakes to take home. They will
learn how to pipe with icing and work with fondant and candy . They will learn
to customize basic techniques to fit their own special talents.

GIRLS’ NIGHT OUT! B.Y.O.B.
Fruit and cheese platter provided. Guests provide their own tasty

home 6 cupcake masterpieces of your own creations.

Decorating Courses

DECORATING BASICS – Wilton Course 1
This is where the fun begins. Learn all there is to know about creating great
cakes! You’ll learn borders, flowers and some really cool cupcake ideas. 4
weeks
Tuition: $45 + supplies. 4 weeks

FLOWERS & CAKE DESIGN – Wilton Course 2
Create flowers using many edible mediums, Gum paste pansies, a
bouquet of royal icing fowers and a finale cake decorated with basket weave.
Tuition: $45 + supplies. 4 weeks
Wednesdays, May 2, 16, 23, 30 – 6-8PM

BASICS OF GUMPASTE AND FONDANT – Wilton Course 3
Learn to cover cakes in fondant. You’ll craft incredible stand-up
decorations by hand from flowers to bows. Learn foolproof ways to roll, cut and
tint gum paste and fondant. You’ll apply basic shaping techniques to create
flowers such as Mums, Carnations, Roses and Daisies. You will complete this
course with a customized fondant covered cake. Wilton Course 1 or Decorating
Basics required before signing up for this class.
Tuition: $45 + supplies 4 weeks
Wednesdays, July 11, 18, 25, August 1st 6-8PM

GUM PASTE FLOWERS – Wilton Course 4
4 weeks of intensive work creating wonderfully detailed gum paste
flowers. We’ll cover the Orchid, Tea Rose, Lily, Daffodil, Tulip and much more.
This is the class you’ve been waiting for!

STORE REFUND POLICYREFUND POLICY: Tuition fees are due at the time of registration. Please note tuition fees are non-refundable 24 hours prior to start date of class. The tuition balance must be paid 3 days prior to the first day of class. If full payment is not received within this time, your seat will not be held. Students notifying Kitchen Chemistry of a cancellation prior to 24 hours before class date will be refunded all paid tuition. Students notifying Kitchen Chemistry of a cancellation after 24 hours will not be refunded their tuition. The number of paid students will determine if class is held. Should class be canceled because of too few students; a full refund will be given. If you are unable to attend a class you may arrange to take the class at another date, if space allows. Your seat in class is non-transferable. Due to space limitations only registered students are allowed in class. Please be prepared and ready to begin decorating upon your arrival to class.
